Staff Accountant
Born in the Midwest, I grew up in a farming community in the Ozarks of Southwest Missouri. Upon graduation with a BS in Accounting from Harding University, I joined an international CPA firm in Seattle, Washington. From there, I entered private practice until a client brought me to Bend, Oregon in 1991. While enjoying the outdoors of Central Oregon, I was affiliated with a local CPA firm until the sale of the firm in 2005. At that time, I consulted in the private sector during which I attended the University of Phoenix graduating with a MS in Accountancy in 2012. Following graduation, my wife (Kathy) and I moved to Eureka, CA working in private industry until I accepted position with Aalfs Evans in December of 2013.
My passions include work in our local church, serving as a wrestling coach for Eureka High School and exploring the beautiful waters and woodlands of the North Coast. We have four children and four grandchildren whom we enjoy as time and travel allows.
