Receptionist
Greetings! My name is Ann Clark. I have been Aalfs, Evans’ receptionist for about eight years. I love the people contact in our front office. I received a B. S. Degree in Kinesiology in 1973 from UCLA and elementary and secondary teaching credentials from UC Davis in 1974. Before working here, I was a substitute teacher for many years mostly in Eureka City Schools.
My community involvement includes serving on the Vestry of Christ Episcopal Church, Baywood Woman’s Golf Association Officer, and Compassionate Friends member and Steering Committee Member.
I am married to Gary Knudsen, the “glove man” with Northern California Glove and Safety. We enjoy taking driving trips to close by and far away destinations.
I have raised four children, all of whom were adopted from Korea. They are young adults now, except for my oldest daughter, Jean, whom we lost in a tragic accident in Brooklyn, NY, in 2009. I enjoy my adult children and their varied worlds. Gary has seven children so we are never bored! They are scattered across the nation.
We have two dogs. The young one is busy tearing the back yard apart, much to Gary’s dismay. I am an avid golfer and swimmer. I love reading a good book. I especially love a good joke or being teased. Spending time with friends and family is the best!
